Copyright Terms

Therefore we must state clearly for once and for all, that whatever you publish using TBBS is either copyrighted by you or that you have permission of the copyright holder to use our site to publish it

ALL ITEMS THAT ARE SUSPECTED OF COPYRIGHT VIOLATIONS WILL BE REMOVED ON THE SPOT! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!

The staff members of TBBS will hereby state that utmost care will be taken, and that we will not remove entries at random, however we cannot guarantee that no entries get removed wrongly.

The administration can NOT be expected or requested to dig out everything about a contributed entry. When we see enough reason to mark an entry as a violation we will remove it. Inquiring each entry for its validity is very time consuming and is therefore not possible. Admins are not required to do so, unless they see a very reason to do so. This decision lies solely in the hands of the responsible admins and is not open for negotiation. If an admin does inquire you about a suspecios entry you are required to answer within 7 days, otherwise the entry will be removed anyway.

To prevent entries to be removed while copyrights are not violated is the responsibility of none other than the original author or sender. The most important part of this prevention is documentation. It's very important that you document your copyrights properly. Also if permissions were granted to other parts to use portions of (for example) your FAQ document that all properly. If some parts of this documentation is to be kept secret from the public for whatever reason, document it in the admin notes which are only visible for admins, and those notes are kept in the database for cases just like these. In the case of a FAQ you must realize that admins should not be required to dig through your entire FAQ for hours in order to find this information, so index your FAQs well so that admins can find things easily.

TBBS HEREBY DISCLAIMS THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CONTENT OF THE MATERIAL USERS PUBLISH ON ITS SITE! ALSO ANY REQUEST BY OFFICIAL COMPANIES TO REMOVE ENTRIES BECAUSE OF POSSIBLE COPYRIGHT VIOLATIONS WILL BE OBBEYED ON THE SPOT! SHOULD THE LAW STILL FIND A WAY TO FINE TBBS OR ANY OF ITS STAFF MEMBERS BECAUSE OF COPYRIGHT VIOLATIONS THE ENTIRE SUM OF MONEY WILL BE CHARGED FROM THE RESPONSIBLE USERS!

In addition of removals of entries the administration can decide to ban your account from uploading or using other services that are sensitive to copyrights.

Avatars and sigs are pending at the descretion of their original copyright holders (or the copyright holders of the product of which portions can be in the avatar/sig). As long as it appears alright with them to use their images as (part of) an avatar or a sig, it's fine with us. But please remember that if they force us to remove certain avatars we are forced to obbey.
Please also note that if people made their avatars themselves that stealing them is not tolerable, same goes for sigs. If you take an avatar directly from an existing product, you cannot blame others for using it, as well.
